On 17 January 2015 a landslide dropped from the land above Genova-Ventimiglia railway, near Andora, invading the route of Intercity 660. The impact caused displacement between the locomotive and the first coach. Several proposal have been done, however, the first who convinced RFI engineers was to Vernazza Comapny. The project - as explained by Managing Macello - using a barge equipped with two main cranes and three auxiliary; this barge has been towed from Genova to Andora, and get as close to the coast, thanks to an offshore tug and other two port tugs operated by OROMARE Company.
